Founded in 2011 by Julian Doherty and Geoff Slade, Yellow Folder is a professional services firm providing talent advice and corporate research. We offer high-performance, data-enabled solutions which help our clients gain competitive and tactical advantages when faced with business and talent challenges.

The core principles of our service offerings and consulting culture are transparency, pro-activity, collaboration, project flexibility, precise scoping, and client ownership of researched information. Julian Doherty

Julian Doherty

Managing Partner

Julian has over thirteen years of leadership, consulting and research experience managing business intelligence, executive search, and management consulting engagements for ASX Top 50, private, government, not-for-profit and higher education clients.

In 2011 he founded Yellow Folder Research with the aim of disrupting incumbent executive search providers and the agency model of recruitment. Julian believes that service and technology innovation allows consultants to meet evolved, contemporary client needs, where traditional vendors have refused to update their service model. Prior to founding Yellow Folder, Julian was Head of Research at Slade Partners.

Nicola Wortley

Nicola Wortley

Head of Client Services

Nicola has over ten years of professional experience leading domestic and global talent investigation, talent pipelining, succession planning, diversity, competitive intelligence and talent solution-focused projects for senior executives and HR stakeholders in the higher education, financial services, mining, professional services, telecommunications, retail, logistics and gaming sectors.

Prior to joining Yellow Folder, Nicola held senior client services, research and consulting roles at Evolve Intelligence, Talent Intelligence, Swann Global and Hudson, after starting her career at KPMG as an Accountant in their audit group.

Joel Fichera

Joel Fichera

Head of Research

Joel has over five years of professional experience within research and corporate advisory. Joel is responsible for leading and co-ordinating research projects, as well as designing and implementing a range of process and systems improvements.

Joel has consulted across industries including financial services, technology, FMCG, higher education and property development. Prior to joining Yellow Folder, Joel worked in corporate advisory, entertainment and academic research.

Jacinta Boys

Jacinta Boys

Client Services Director

Jacinta has over five years of professional experience leading research, succession planning, talent pipelining, strategic leadership and competitive intelligence projects across the financial services, higher education, professional services and not-for-profit sectors.

Prior to joining Yellow Folder, Jacinta held consulting and research focused roles at Mercer, Evolve Intelligence, KPMG, and Oppeus International.

Will Snodgrass

Will Snodgrass

Research Consultant

Over the course of his Master of Psychology (Organisational) studies at Deakin University, Will worked in management consulting, talent acquisition, and academic research organisations.

He has a background in talent selection and assessment for government departments and private companies, and since joining Yellow Folder has contributed to a number of talent investigation, talent engagement, and market intelligence projects across financial services, retail, and property management.

Marie Ramis

Marie Ramis

Research Consultant

After completing her Master of Management at Melbourne Business School, Marie gained experience as a resourcer specialising in financial services roles across a range of job families.

Since joining Yellow Folder, she has co-led and contributed to a number of talent investigation, talent engagement, and market intelligence projects in the consumer, technology, and financial services sectors.
